Opportunities within the maintenance team can include, but is not limited to the following positions:
Electrician
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- High commitment to safe working procedures
- Interact with computerized maintenance system
- Good working knowledge of PLC’s, variable frequency drives, servo motors and process control
The ideal candidates will possess or be willing to obtain a Journeyman Industrial and/or Construction Electrician Certificate. Good problem solving, troubleshooting and communication skills are essential. Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment and be a self starter/decision maker.
Industrial Mechanic
Responsibilities include mechanical/welding maintenance, troubleshooting and repair as part of the Maintenance team, working in a production environment as well as involvement in the Preventative Maintenance Program. Licensed Industrial Mechanics with experience are preferred however Apprentices will be considered. Completion of a Community College Mechanical Program is required.
Power Engineers
Power Engineers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of boilers, boiler plant auxiliaries, compressors and dry kilns. The ideal candidate will be a 3rd Class Power Engineer with consideration given to Fourth Class Engineers willing to obtain 3rd Class certification. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and analytical skills are required.
